All our facilities are available via procurement-compliant frameworks provided by Crown Commercial Service (CCS), NHS Shared Business Services (SBS), and NHS Commercial Solutions. This is to simplify and speed up the procurement process, including direct award.
HBN and HTM Compliant
Each theatre facility is designed and manufactured in line with NHS guidelines for healthcare environments. These include HBN 26 - Facilities for Surgical Procedures, HTM 03-01 - Specialised Ventilation for Healthcare Premises, and HTM 02-01 - Medical Gas Pipeline Systems.
Flexible Finance
Hire, Managed Service and Pulse-usage agreements let NHS Trusts combine the full costs of the project (hospital ward design, enabling works, installation, and upkeep of the facility) into one monthly fee. This can also extend to the inclusion of medical equipment into monthly payments.
Maintenance
Our comprehensive maintenance offering covers everything needed to keep your modular theatre operating at peak efficiency. We help lower operating costs, reduce emissions and ensure your building remains in top condition.

Absolutely. Our wards are bespoke to your clinical needs. We work with your clinical and estates teams to design layouts that support patient flow, staffing efficiency, and comfort, including ancillary areas like nurses’ stations, dirty/clean utilities, staff rooms, and proper access to surgical spaces, imaging facilities and other locations critical for patient care needs.
Are your modular wards suitable for permanent use?
Yes. All our modular buildings are built to permanent construction standards, with a design life of 60+ years. We also offer temporary decant ward solutions, depending on your requirements.
Can your modular wards be used during winter or capacity surges?
Our modular wards are ideal for rapid expansion during periods of high demand such as winter pressures. We can provide scalable, fully equipped inpatient space on short timescales.
