We’re thrilled to announce that we have been shortlisted for a hattrick of prestigious industry awards in recent weeks, in recognition of the work we completed for the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham.
Our state of the art, modular operating theatre complex has been shortlisted for Healthcare Project of the Year at the Offsite Awards, Best Modular Project at the Building Better Healthcare Awards and Offsite Project of the Year at the Building Awards.
Industry awards are a fantastic way to highlight and celebrate those projects that really go above and beyond, and we are so proud of our team and our strategic partners, all of whom were pivotal in helping us to deliver this fantastic scheme.
The Offsite Awards took place on Tuesday 22nd September and, while we didn’t win in our category, we still had a wonderful time at the virtual ceremony and even won the selfie challenge on the night! We’re exceptionally proud to have been named as a finalist among so many other leaders in our industry.
We’re very optimistic and are hugely looking forward to the other two award ceremonies. We’ll be attending the virtual Building Awards on the 3rd November, while the Building Better Healthcare Awards have been postponed until 21st April 2021, in hopes of a traditional awards ceremony in London.
Alan Wilson, our Managing Director, said: “This is the first time we’ve really put ourselves out there in terms of industry awards, but with the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital project being so positively received, we felt it was the right time to highlight our work and recognise some of the flagship projects we’re delivering.
“To have been shortlisted for not one but three leading industry awards shows the impressive calibre of the project, and, win or lose, being shortlisted is a phenomenal achievement for us.
“It’s unfortunate that we are not able to attend the ceremonies in person this year, for obvious reasons, but the team will be celebrating in new, virtual ways. It’ll also be fantastic to celebrate with one another, as well as our partners on the scheme, once everybody is back working together again.”
